FAQ
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes yes yes! Contact me + we can have fun talking about all of the places we can go! I mostly work within the PNW but can travel anywhere.
Will there be a second shooter?
Yes! Most of my packages already include a second shooter.
Having a second shooter allows us to split up if needed to capture all of the moments with ease. It also offers a second point of view for those special moments you just can't get enough of. My second shooter is my talented and artistic husband who first introduced me to photography years ago; having him as my second hand man as I work is truly amazing.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
I am extremely flexible! As long as I have time between sessions, I have time to extend! I usually allow plenty of time after a session incase our time does exceed an hour. I always find myself having so much fun that we lose track of time, + that's perfectly okay! If we go over by a few minutes I don't charge extra.
What kind of gear do you use?
We use Sony bodies and Sigma and Tamron lenses.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Absolutely not. You definitely can but if you're like me, you like to weigh your options + find what works best for you. And maybe you have a go-to print shop that you love already + that's awesome!
Can my pet be included in the session?
Yes, definitely! As long as the addition of a pet is communicated so that we can prepare. If available, I will have an assistant help with handling your animal while we capture images that don't have your pet in them. This of course is only necessary at a park or outdoor session. If we are doing a home session, of course your pet can join in, they are part of the family!
Including a pet in your wedding or elopement photos is more than okay with me! I have done many events/sessions with animals and am sure to highlight them just as much as their humans.
What if it is raining on the day of my session?
I always keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your session. If the weather isn’t cooperative, I’ll work with you to reschedule or find a suitable indoor location. We can also embrace a little drizzle and use cute props like a see through umbrella. I am always flexible and completely understand that rain may interrupt your ideal vision. Storms, extreme high winds, and lightning are a definite reschedule.
Do you offer extended family sessions?
Yes, I do! For each individual over my session max of 10 individuals, there is just an additional fee per person. The fee is just $20 per
person.
If two families want to split one session between them, this however is not allowed. Each separate family would have to book an individual session. I do allow some images be taken together but it would be a case by case decision depending on the circumstances.
How long have you been doing photography?
I first started photography over 10 years ago as a hobby. I started my official business in 2020 and became an LLC in 2022.
What is your photography style?
My style is warm, natural, and candid. I aim to capture authentic emotions and connections, so my approach is relaxed and fun to keep you feeling comfortable. I can pose my clients if they need a little guidance as well as use prompts to evoke movement and candid moments.
What should we wear to our session?
I recommend outfits that are comfortable and reflect your personality. Coordinating colors without matching exactly looks great in photos. My favorite outfits to capture have a lot of volume like long dresses but each individual has their unique style and I highly recommend doing what feels the most comfortable! I would be glad to schedule a meeting to go over outfit planning and can provide tips if needed.
When is payment due and what forms of payment do you use?
A first payment of half the session/package cost is required to secure your session date and book your package, with the remaining balance due on the day of the session. If you are booking a wedding package, the remaining half would be due 10 days prior to your event date.
I accept various payment methods for convenience! My go-to methods are typically Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal.
How long does it take to receive images?
You can expect your fully edited gallery within 1-3 weeks of your session day depending on the time of year.
Wedding galleries are delivered between 4 to 8 weeks depending on the time of year and the size of the gallery/package. Clients do receive their sneak peek album within 1 week of their wedding day.
Will we have rights to print our images?
Yes, each package includes print rights for personal use. This allows you to print your images whenever and wherever you like!
